Banners in Downtown Charlottetown

The Banner Project was put in affect in order to showcase Island artists and their impression of beautiful PEI. I chose to paint the Seacow Head Lighthouse because it has sentimental value for me and I think that the lighthouses of PEI are beautiful.
...although I could have painted any number of things that showed my love of PEI...there just aren't enough canvases for that....it's my home. 

My banner is hung on Victoria Row and is now accompanied by banners painted by other island artists. I look forward to seeing more pieces in years to come and I am so glad to be a part of something like this because I feel that islanders have so much creativity to share!
